I must admit that I am one mama that prefer to buy her son learning and educational toys than buy him branded clothes. Not that I can't afford... tee hee.
I actually thought of buying him Clarks shoe for his birthday present but he still crawling and the shoe will be a waste instead. Might as well wait until he can do the walk and the run. Give his abah some exercise.
Then thinking that he has yet to master walking... I thought of buying him this
- Go baby Go, Stride to Ride On Lion by Fisher Price -
But it does costs me a hundred and twenty dollars.
Hubby and I actually put a test of our son if he likes the toy. We found something a-like it on display at Kiddy Palace Marina Square and tried to make him like the toy. He refused to stand up, yet giggled foolishly at the idea of mama buying him a new toy. We didn't buy it in the end.
Move aside for my son's thing... I thought of buying a moses basket for my little girl. Hubby rejected the idea 'bulat-bulat' as he said it would be a waste of money and space. Hmph... But won't it be nice to have one like this in my bedroom... Girl sey...
from Mothercare.
Hubby said..."just re-use the baby cot that we had for our son..." Hmph!
I've only started buying things for myself like maternity pads, breastpads, plastic underwear, Topshop slipper.... i have yet to buy one or two more nursing bras and probably a cotton nightgown... hospital gown is uber sexy i dun like it.
As for baby girl's things, I have mostly hand me down items from my son, my 3 nieces... bolehlah. I actually want to shop a bit more for her, buy those pretty dresses with headbands and cute white shoes.... aRrhhh... Lovely! Name? I like something S-K...hubby wants something S-A... we will see.
With that... exactly 29 more days before I enter delivery/operation room.

heloo sue, yeah baby girl gerek..i noe that coz i have 3 nieces and i bought them so many cute things. hahaha
but now i tak keje, this baby girl of mine kena budget sikit lar...
hello anonymous!
C-sect suckz big time. i had to have it coz i was in labour for 12 hours with the first son, and then my vagina refused to open up to 10cm. it was nightmare for me coz i never educated or prepapred myself with c-sect delivery.
but now, 2nd time round, i kept reading on C-sect and somehow mentally prepare lar. emotionally still upset coz i'll still prefer the normal way.
there's 2 type of c-sect, one half-numb(awake) or sleep. i opt for sleep coz the half-numb uses epidural and tt means extra $$$.
anyway i heard epidural not good too.
i hope i've enlightened you. by the way, before i go hiatus, who are you?? would like to be a friend soon.
