They were such bad bad parents, waking me up early in the morning. They lured me into drinking milk and then made me have my hot bath. I cried coz it was only 6am in the morning. Have a little mercy for a little fella lah!
It was weird. There was a lot of luggages. Hmm.... 'where are we off to?' i kept thinking.
But I lost touched once I was in the car. I slept throughout the journey... only waking up to realise I might not be in Singapore. The weather was warm and grandma made me wore a sweater in the car, thinking it was icing cold.
I woke up again, this time, we were waiting in a bungalow. "bungalow?" oh well... that was what abah kept saying. mama kept correcting him, 'terrace lah'.
Then two unfamiliar faces approached the terrace. Mama said they are my atok mak's little brother... pangkat atok alang and atokmak alang. they looked like mama though.
the house is huuugee. very colourful and loads of things to pull and throw. he he he. mama and abah was worry i might broke something. then i saw familiar faces... my great grandma and atokwan.
that day, they made me have a long nap. no one went out except for my naughty naughty parents who left me behind that evening. i heard they went to Sunway Pyramid with mama's cousin, mak yong.
the next day, i was rudely awaken again by those noisy people in the house. wonder where they were taking me. I still had no clue as where I was. I was bathed by abah and fed by mama. everything was in a hurry.
So we left the house with another unfamiliar car. Abah had to follow the car to somewhere. Along the way I saw these... (with mama getting super-xcited)
mama- KL railway station!
me - err...what's KL?
i heard they kept repeating 'Kuala Lumpur'... whatever that is.
mama- the mosque!
mama- Sogo!
we did some shopping for myself, nursabilah and mama at Sogo and had lunch there. i wailed and demanded my fair share of lunch. so abah bought me a salt-less rice porridge with fish. after that i kept quiet and smiled. we left the err.. Sogo and headed to somewhere else. Again abah had to follow the car.
mama - nice red like air asia hotel!
mama - Oohhh.. KLCC!
mama - Ohhh twin tower!
she was going nuts. atok alang suggested to go to the fountain area and convention hall coz they have some home exhibition. i couldn't be bothered though. the place was busy with people and cramped. i cried and cried. mama and abah and my grandparents searched for the exit. imagine an only exit five blocks away --- lunatics!
i felt asleeped instantly once we were out of that crazy place. we trailed back to the main KLCC shopping mall and my parents went on a half-an hour shopping spree... just to use up their RM, while the rests sat by a cafe to rest.
we headed back to that colourful house. i was asleeped so i didn't know what happened along the way.
the next day, i was again woke up early. Bathed and fed by my atokwan. my parents were busy packing things into the car. "where to now?" i wondered.
goodbyes were said and waved and kissed. the backseat was uncomfortable. very cramped with 4 adults and me a toddler. I slept throughout the journey to unsureness and woke up angry because it was warm and i was hungry.
we arrived at this first house. mama said the house belonged to atokbak's parents and i heard them said 'Segamat'... again...whatever that is. i demanded my food and once fed i kept myself busy chasing after ants. they amazed me eventhough mama was getting nuts with ants everywhere.
atokbak taught me how to climb stairs. i love it and i could climb but i have yet to master climbing down. hehe...i don't even walk yet.
so after they ate their lunch (i assumed), we went to the second house... again cramped, hot weather and stuffy. Luckily the journey was a five minute drive away. Ahh...this house seems familiar. I've been here before.
mama whispered to abah... 'nie baru bungalow dear'. the bungalow belongs to my atokmak's parents.
i was delighted that the bungalow has staircase. i practiced my talent and soon got tired of it. So i continued playing with the ants.
then i heard mama screaming her lungs out in the bathroom. abah rushed to check on her, fearing that she might have fall in there. then i heard him laughed. i laughed too. i heard something about spider jumping on my mama's huge belly while she was about to bathe. how silly for her to scream... only spider mah!
soon after that, i was bathed and dressed. i became really tired. we said goodbyes to my great grandma and atokwan.
i think i know where we are heading...
so again, i slept throughout the journey. atok mak and atok bak slept too. mama accompanied abah with silly conversation while abah drove.
and kejam kelip... we are back in Singapore. my hometown. it was a tiring day for everyone i guess. I don't feel a thing coz i still have energy to play with my cousin, kak humairah, who dropped by with her mama.
do you think i will remember this trip? hmmm....
