Jatuh = Fall
Yup. that was the greatest topic of yesterday. At 4.45pm, My son fell from my bed and his head hit the edge of my wardrobe. I almost gave birth when i heard the loud thud, followed by the screaming of his tears.
I quickly carried him and checked the back of his head. A small cut with a small bleeding. I quickly rinsed with water and put pressure on it with loads and loads of tissue paper while I drastically searched for 'minyak gamat'.
Mom was praying at time and we were at her house.
Mom came shivering as to what happened to her grandson. I kept quiet all this while... soothing him. We called everyone... my hubby, my sister, my dad and my brother. Everyone nagged at me for being 'lalai'. sigh.
I got ready and managed to pray Asar before going off to KKH with mom and sister. My dad and my brother joined as there while my hubby waited at home.
Over at KKH, he was checked and he had fever, 38 degrees celsius. Nurse said could be the shocked from the fell. hmmph. His bleeding stopped and there was no need to apply anything. Of course that part swelled big time.
The Indian doctor was very nice. She didn't nag at me for what happened as what my sister said they normally do. My son was sent for X-ray for his skull. My brother helped to do the X-ray coz I'm pregnant and X-ray is no-no for pregnant people.
Waited and waited for an hour plus and Ms Doctor said the X-ray was fine. Waited again for 30 minutes. I managed to feed him and he seems to be his own self and not vomiting.
30 minutes gone and we were allowed to go home. Phew! I called hubby and told him to come over to my parent's house as we were all tired.
Dad made me promised not to be 'lalai' again. Hubby made me promised not to put him on the bed again. Sigh.
I feel so sad so sad. But at one point angry pun ader.Look on the brighter side, lucky he's not hospitalise if not, my KL trip sure kena cancel!

Sad to hear about the bad fall ur son gotten into. Why dont u buy the bed rail if u put your son on your bed and one advise i could give u too is that buy a cheap mattress to put just beside your bed. I did that for my son. And when he is asleep i put him on the matress or inside his cot. My son cant keep still too while he is on the bed... i understand..its not your fault..some things just happen..Take Care
Hisk, nasib baik nothing serious. Kisses for you son ok. Dun worry, it happens to me too. How hard you try to protect your child, sedikit sebanyak sure terantuk. My daughter dah banyak kali kena.. At most dia wail den laugh cos we try to laugh wen she fall so that dia tak nangis lah.
