the fallen idols

as i listened to songs by Britney Spears and Siti Nurhaliza,
it brought back sweet sweet memories of the past, failures and happiness.
in department of friendship, courtship, love and being married as it is now.
i won't deny i love them and look up to them.

too bad i can't sing or else, i'd join in the Singapore Idols.

It is wonderful to be an idol but it is sad to be known as fallen idol by a fan itself. *chuckles* now i sounded like judge jacintha.

Let's talk about britney spears and Siti Nurhaliza. To me, they are great singers/ entertainers. However, i do believe that many many fans don't really agree to their choice of spouse/ lover/ husband.

We all know that Ked F uses Brit's money to get things. We all think that he is using her to get famous. and he does. with bad tabloids now and then. I can't stand him though. We all thought they would split but hey she's pregnant with the 2nd baby. why why why?

As for Ms Ct, I can't get it. Who would want to be a second nor third wife to a man? I seriously think that she can do better. The wedding was grand. It looked as grand as the Sultan Brunei's wedding a few years back. Hah. but again, why why why?

sigh.

as long as they seem happy, its fine with us.

now let's talk about Singapore Idol 2006.

i was really happy when hady was safe from elimination. but i was sad to see nurul leaving the competition. come on singapore voters. what happen this year round?

i was pretty upset when Rahimah left. She can sing eventhough she does look angry most of the time while performing. i hope i will hear from her again.

i was amused when Mathilda was out. Seriously, she can easily win the singing competition. Her voice was wow. She's born to sing. but she does too much drama while singing. that might had turn the voters off, i guessed. i also hope to hear her album some day.

i wasn't upset when Nurul was out last week. I was upset that Joakim was still in. Let's rephrase. Not upset but frustrated.

Guys guys. Joakim can't sing a single note. I won't deny he is very entertaining but please. Listen carefully and vote accordingly. Don't vote coz he's cute (for those teenagers). Better still. stop voting him at all. Let him go. Get closure.

I tell you. It is frustrating to watch the competition now. It will be more frustrating to watch it later if:

- Hady is voted out
- Jonathan is voted out
- Paul is voted out

and with that left Ms Jasmine and Mr Joakim. I assure you that no one will even bother to switch on their tv, read up on the newspaper and be excited at who wins.

i hope not. i hope hady wins. i give you my vote soon.

with that. Singapore voters. please use the brain more when voting. don't go wasting 60cents on voting the wrong idol. Do the right job as you did for the first Singapore Idol.
