36 weeks mark

Last Thursday, i went for my weekly checkup. I've been grinning like a sick lamb, knowing that it was my 36 weeks mark. However, when my gynae congrated me on reaching the 36 weeks mark, reality sets in.

my eyes blinked at her. her next statement didn't do much justice. 'you can give birth anytime now.' again i blinked at her. *excited shocked scared*

my oh my. (breathe)

she then proceeded on scanning my baby. His position is correct and low. Everything seems to be normal. She didn't check my cervix yet.

she then proceeded on explaining the 3 signs of labour: contractions, bleed and waterbag burst. what is contractions and how does a waterbag burst looks like?

haha... she told me to ask my sister *grinned*

before leaving, she reminded me to pack my baby bag. I smiled as i've already done so.

as for now, i've reached 37 weeks. am still waiting for any signs of labour. i'm still working and now feeling damn tired. Suddenly everything seems to slow down. my thinking, my responses and i'm feeling the extra urge to nap often. baby is getting more active.

excited? yes. scared? yes. each night, hubby will kiss me and comfort me saying everything will go on smoothly. i hope so. i really do.
