Once upon a time, there was a young girl who lived in the West, fell in love with a boy living in the North. However, when they started to officially be a couple, the girl moved to the East.

Their love blossom within the next four years they were together. The girl introduced the boy to her parents and vice-versa. Two years ago, the boy proposed to the girl very awkwardly opposite Boat Quay. The families celebrated the occasion.

So they planned the wedding. She wanted it simple and traditional. He had no comment about it. They searched high low for the best of mak-andam, studio, photographer and videographer. She went the extra mile to get the best dais, decor, food catering, berkat and wedding dress.

The wedding dress she loved the most. The Gucci- french lace kain was chosen by her fave grandma, bought from EuroModa boutique, paid by her daddy. Its darn expensive.
The boy's kain also bought from EuroModa boutique, but he paid himself. Her material was so delicate that she went to a Professional for it to be sewn. Kemy & Surin did the best job, delivering their needs.

A month ago, they got married in the most traditional setting in her parents' house. They wore the white wedding dress. The solemnization ceremony was simple yet meaningful in its own ways. And after saying twice out loud, they are officially husband and wife, in the eye of law, religion-wise and government-wise. They signed the documents, exchanged the rings and the boy kissed the girl forehead lightly.

The lunch reception/ sanding day went very well with a major hiccup. they were wearing the yellow songket dress. the girl waited for the boy for an hour, sitting alone on the dais, looking at the guests. But she was calmed and smiled and took pictures with the guests. The boy finally arrived with the relatives and the kompang kids. The boy was fuming as he felt sorry for her waiting so long. Then they went over to the guy side, reaching an hour late. The girl was having migraine from wearing the headgear that clamped her forehead. The boy took the girl to his house only to find the house gate was locked and the key was not found. The boy's uncles bought axes and tried their ways to break open the gate. Succeed.

the girl waited patiently as her mak-andam stripped off her headgear. she took 2 panadols while the boy's pak-andam did her hair. Soon, they changed to their last outfit, mustard-green long dress.

the day ended happily with kissing of parents and parents-in-law.
